Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes permitted and prohibited uses of the SiliconSpace platform. It applies to all users and is incorporated by reference into the SiliconSpace Terms of Service.

1. Permitted Use

SiliconSpace may be used to:

  • Design, synthesize, and implement digital integrated circuits
  • Run open-source EDA tools on user-submitted designs
  • Generate reports, layouts, and design artifacts
  • Collaborate with others through organizations and public projects

All use must comply with applicable laws and these policies.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, submit, or share content that:

  • You do not have the legal right to use or distribute
  • Infringes intellectual property or confidentiality obligations
  • Contains malware, exploits, or malicious code
  • Is illegal, unlawful, or violates export control regulations

3. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Attempt to bypass security, isolation, or resource limits
  • Interfere with other users or platform operation
  • Abuse compute resources or run workloads outside intended use
  • Attempt privilege escalation or unauthorized access
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or probe platform internals
  • Use the service for cryptocurrency mining or non-EDA workloads

4. Compute Fair Use

SiliconSpace enforces limits on:

  • CPU cores
  • Memory usage
  • Runtime duration
  • Storage and artifact retention

These limits exist to ensure fair and reliable service for all users. Excessive or abusive usage may result in throttling, job termination, or account suspension.

5. Public Projects and Sharing

If you choose to make a project public:

  • You are responsible for ensuring it may be legally shared
  • Content must comply with applicable licenses
  • Projects may be removed if reported for policy violations

SiliconSpace does not pre-review public content.

6. Security and Integrity

You may not:

  • Upload code intended to compromise systems
  • Attempt network access beyond permitted execution environments
  • Access or attempt to access data belonging to other users
  • Use the platform to test exploits or vulnerabilities

7. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Job termination
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Removal of public content

Enforcement decisions are made at SiliconSpace's discretion.

Include sufficient detail to allow investigation.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
